24.2.: solidarity event

On February 24, Ukraine has been at war for 365 days. He has brought the normal life to an abrupt end to Ukrainians. Numerous families were torn apart or lost relatives. We would like to pause on this day, look at the people of Ukraine and set a sign of solidarity and compassion. Therefore we invite you

on Friday, February 24th at 6:30 p.m

at Froschgraben

take part in a solidarity rally. Here Ukrainians will report about their situation. Gregor Immanuel Kleeberg makes a musical contribution with his guitar. If you wish, you are welcome to bring a candle as a sign of hope for peace to come.

In addition to the symbolic expression of solidarity, it is important to us to also provide concrete help. We therefore ask you to take part in Deutsche Post's "Humanitarian Aid Ukraine" campaign. The information about what is needed (and what is not) and how to pack it can be found here: or via the QR code below.

Please bring the fully packed, labeled and tagged packages with you to the meeting point at the Froschgraben. We'll hand them over to the post office for you on Saturday. The packages are sent free of charge. 20 minutes BEFORE the rally the documentary "Oh, Sister!" will be shown in room S304 of the adult education center in Salinenstraße.

The film (originally with English subtitles) follows the journey of three Nobel Peace Prize winners to Kraków and Lviv and tells the stories of six Ukrainian women who take a stand against war. The film starts at 5:45 p.m. Admission is free. The rally will then take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Froschgraben. In addition, on 24.2. various Christian churches from Schwäbisch Hall invite to prayer for peace. At 6 p.m. on the stairs in front of St. Michael.
